Welcome to YEVRS home page.
Our goals are;
- Organizing meetings during the main congress of the EVRS. Topics include videos, case presentations, papers, new techniques, new instrumentations and lectures by experts. Presentations will deal primarily with the basics as this is where the least information is available for those just starting their career.
- Promoting the exchange of opinions between the young and the experts. Frequently young vitreoretinal surgeons have another questions, another problems and, sometimes another ideas. And, in many cases, they haven't another person (i.e. expert surgeon) to share with their dilemmas.
- Performing an important role in the training and education of the young and help them to get some short scholarships or other forms of learning new techniques (videos, wet labs, fellowship).
- Creating an online round table where the beginners can confront their difficulties and their methods to get over their problems.
